Opening a Lotus Forms / IBM Forms document throws an internal null-pointer error.

Likely cause

ApproveIt registry state corrupt, or the form is missing the libeay32.dll that ApproveIt expects.

Fix

1. Run the NullPointerFix.bat from militarycac.com (rename from .txt if browser blocks). 2. Or open regedit and delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings. 3. Start > Programs > ApproveIt Desktop > ApproveIt Configuration > tick 'Sign using certificate or smart card' > OK. 4. If still failing, copy libeay32.dll from C:\Program Files\ApproveIt (or Program Files (x86) on 64-bit) into the matching Forms Viewer 'extensions' and 'API\80\system' (or 'API\76\System' for Lotus Forms 3.5) folders.
