Symptoms
DoD sites are slow, signed-email validation fails, or you get persistent security warnings.
Likely cause
The site is not in the IE Trusted Sites zone.
Fix
1. IE > Tools > Internet Options > Security tab.
2. Click Trusted sites (green check) > Sites.
3. Type the URL (e.g. https://*.mail.mil or https://*.osd.mil).
4. Uncheck 'Require server verification (https:)' if the site uses HTTP for one phase.
5. Add > Close > OK.
