Likely cause

vbscript.dll is not registered, or an antivirus is blocking VBScript.

Fix

1. Start > type cmd > right-click Command Prompt > Run as administrator. 2. 32-bit Windows: cd \windows\system32. 64-bit Windows: cd \windows\syswow64. 3. Run: regsvr32 vbscript.dll. You should see 'DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded'. 4. If that does not work, in regedit delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{B54F3741-5B07-11CF-A4B0-00AA004A55E8} (32-bit) or the same key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (64-bit), taking ownership first if needed. Reboot. 5. Also try temporarily disabling McAfee, Symantec/Norton, or Kaspersky during install; use the official McAfee removal tool if McAfee is the culprit.
