DTS / DBSign stalls at 'Loading cryptographic libraries'

Symptoms

DTS login hangs at the DBSign loading bar or returns a security info error.

Likely cause

*.osd.mil is not in Trusted Sites, or Protected Mode is on.

Fix

1. IE > Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted sites > Sites. 2. Add *.osd.mil. Uncheck 'Require server verification (https:)'. Click Add > Close > OK. 3. Back on the Security tab, select Internet (globe) > uncheck 'Enable Protected Mode' > Custom level. 4. Restart IE.
