DBSign uses the wrong PKCS#11 module on Linux after switching middleware

Symptoms

After switching from CACkey to CoolKey (or vice versa), DTS / DBSign refuses to authenticate.

Likely cause

DBSign.cfg still points at the previous library path.

Fix

1. Open $HOME/.DBsign/UWC/DBsign.cfg in a text editor. 2. Find: <para name="pkcs11_library">/usr/lib64/libcackey.so</param> 3. Replace with the correct module/path for your system: - 64-bit CoolKey: /usr/lib64/libcoolkeypk11.so - 32-bit CoolKey: /usr/lib/libcoolkeypk11.so 4. Save and relaunch DTS.
