After April 1, 2025, the previously working DriveLock + Smart Card Connector extensions stopped functioning.

Likely cause

Google retired the Chrome Web Store hosting model used to ship the CAC middleware and moved to Progressive Web Apps (PWA). The replacement PWA has not been published.

Fix

There is no current ChromeOS solution. Workarounds: 1. Army: use Hypori on a phone/tablet for Army 365. 2. Use a Windows or Mac computer. 3. Watch militarycac.com/chromebook.htm for a future PWA release.
